50 Yard Range is Open

P2K has brought back the 50 yard targets!

The 50 yard fixed targets add another level of skill development and practice opportunities for all shooters looking for distance.

Members Range will open May 2018! 

P2K’s Single Wobble Trap League kept everyone on their toes as the yardage changed each week for a total of four hundred targets. 

The yardage selection ran from the comfortable sixteen to the twenty-six-yard line with shooter’s getting one round with straight targets and their second round in a wobble format from the same yard line.

As the National Shooting Sports Foundation designed the curriculum for their Retailer Seminars and SHOT Show University, one of their primary points of focus is on that of ATF Compliance. Shooting range operators, though, also need to be well informed on compliance, regulations and planning related to OSHA—Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

All of the competitors in the '15 Summer Five Stand League enjoyed the new format and most of the target presentations. Not every target is going to make every shooter happy!

The National Wild Turkey Federation's San Diego Chapter recognized P2K Range at the NWTF Turkey Tune Up at Lake Sutherland on Saturday.

P2K hosted the first FMG Master's on September 10th. FMG's Staff represented well on all of the ranges. This group of editors, accountants, writers, principals and Roy the "Maintenance Man" competed in a soft three gun event and all of the scores were very close.

California Ammunition Registration Bill Defeated

Sportsmen, gun owners and retailers in California scored a major victory last Saturday as the California Assembly was unable to muster the votes (35-35-8) to pass an ammunition registration bill.

Thirteen coaches from as far away as Nevada met at P2K Range this weekend to obtain their coaching certification from USA Shooting and the National Rifle Association. Dennis Rohman, National Coach Development Staff Member, taught the Level One National Shotgun Coach Course in the classroom and conducted the practical exercise on the lower trap field.

A world champion through and through, Rob has many titles including, USPSA Champion over twenty times, IPSC World Champion more than you can count on one hand,Bianchi Cup, American Handgunner, and the list goes on and on! Let's just say, when Rob's not holding a gun, he's holding a trophy, medal or some other form of booty that set him apart from the competition.
