Jamulfest Parade 2019
P2K participated in the Jamulfest Parade sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Jamul.
Dennis drove a 1993 Stewart & Stevenson M1078 LMTV and chauffeured Susan and All of the Pagent Queens as they distributed candy along the parade route.
The theme was “Music” and drew a good crowd.
Starting the parade route at Jamul Intermediate School and ending at the St. Pius Catholic Church Arena the journey had spectators lined on both sides of Lyons Valley Road.
Entries ranged from horse mounted individuals, The Winchester Widows, David Bowee with colorful Boas, bicycle scouts, classic cars, marching bands, floats, youth groups, a variety of animals and other areas of interest.
The weather was perfect, and the Jamul Caballeros Mounted Horseback Group performed in the arena to a packed audience.
